Bugatti Chiron: W16.4 breaking records and beyond

The specifications of this hyper beast

The Chiron can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.4 seconds according to the manufacturer, 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) in 6.5 seconds and 0–300 km/h (0–186 mph) in 13.6 seconds. In a world-record-setting test at the time in 2017, the Chiron reached 400 km/h (249 mph) in 32.6 seconds, after which it needed 9.4 seconds to brake to standstill.

At the Geneva International Motor Show 2016, Bugatti premiered the new Chiron- the world’s most powerful and quickest production sports car.

The Chiron boats 1,500 HP, with torque of 1,600 Nm between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm. The maximum speed of 261mp/h is ready for a new world speed record. It will do 0 to 62 mp/h in less than 2.5 seconds.

Naturally, the Chiron offers maximum performance but has been built to control the power at all speed ranges.

Bugatti will make a limited series of 500 Chiron cars, available in autumn 2016 at €2.4 million net. Advance orders have already been received for one third of the total production, so be quick.
